You will be guided by Dr Groom, member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Groom works with you across the lifestyle factors that have the biggest impact on long-term health.
Eating patterns and how food affects how you feel.
Realistic exercise that fits your life and your body.
Sustainable change supported by evidence, not fads.
Understanding what affects your energy and balance.
Dr Groom focuses on understanding the root causes of your concerns and supporting long-term improvement through evidence-based advice.
A member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, her particular interests include nutrition, gut health, fitness, weight and sleep.
Her consultations are open, supportive and unhurried with time to understand your current health, your daily routine, and the changes you'd like to make.
Time to explore your health, lifestyle and goals in detail. Your consultation moves through three distinct stages.
A careful review of your health to date, so the conversation that follows is rooted in your full picture.
An honest look at the everyday habits that shape how you feel and where there’s room to change.
Realistic goals, agreed together, with the coaching support to help you actually get there.
The main aim of your appointment is to address your specific areas of concern and support positive lifestyle change.
Using coaching techniques, Dr Groom will help you define your goals, build motivation and develop confidence in making lasting changes.
Follow-up appointments are recommended at intervals that suit you — allowing for ongoing support, review of progress, and reinforcement of positive change.
B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in red blood cell production, nerve function and energy metabolism.
Found naturally in animal-based foods, vegans, vegetarians and people with certain medical conditions may be at risk of deficiency.
B12 injections deliver the vitamin directly and should only be used where recommended by a healthcare professional, and where there’s a legitimate medical reason typically confirmed or suspected deficiency.
If you think you may have a B12 deficiency, or are considering injections, please book an initial 30-minute GP consultation to discuss your symptoms, risk factors and treatment options.
We require evidence of a vitamin B12 blood test within the last 3 months before administering an injection.
If needed, we can arrange this blood test for you.
First time? Please book an initial 30-minute GP appointment before your B12 injection.

Blood tests, investigations, prescriptions or additional treatments may incur separate charges, always discussed with you in advance.
* If you have not previously had a B12 injection at The Grosvenor Practice, you will need to book an initial 30-minute GP appointment first.
Our Health Plans include unlimited GP appointments, repeat prescriptions and specialist referrals, from £55 a month.
Lifestyle medicine consultations, blood tests and B12 injections may be charged separately depending on your plan.
