Skin problems can cause significant distress, and timely assessment can make a real difference. At The Grosvenor Practice, Dr Rupert Pemsel offers GP-led skin assessment and treatment for a range of concerns, including acne, rosacea, rashes, moles, lumps and benign skin lesions.
Acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and other skin rashes that affect daily comfort.
Worrying moles, changing skin lesions, lumps and bumps that need a closer look.
Warts, verrucae, skin tags, milia and other benign lesions that may be suitable for CryoPen® treatment
Every skin journey starts with a 30-minute assessment. Dr Pemsel will review your concerns, examine the area and discuss the right next steps for you.
Mole mapping is a procedure used to monitor moles and skin lesions over time. It can be helpful where there are multiple moles, changing lesions, or where closer monitoring is recommended.
Detailed dermatoscope images of your skin lesions are captured, with their size, shape and location recorded securely. These images provide a baseline for future comparison, helping to identify significant changes earlier.
By giving a detailed view of the skin’s surface, mole mapping can support more accurate assessment and appropriate onward management.
Dr Pemsel offers CryoPen® treatment for suitable benign skin lesions such as skin tags, warts, verrucae and milia.
A targeted jet of nitrous oxide freezes unwanted tissue, with minimal discomfort and little or no damage to the surrounding skin.
Treatment is usually quick and well tolerated, with minimal aftercare. Many minor lesions can be treated in a single session, with healing taking place over the following few weeks.
• Minimally invasive
• Single session for many lesions
• Minimal aftercare
